Softball Recap: Montgomery County's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Montgomery County had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Mark Twain on Tuesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Tigers. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 5, 2024 (when they won 17-2).

The win (which was Montgomery County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average this season. As for Mark Twain, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
