Baseball Recap: Robichaud Comes Up Short

Hope Christian Academy hit Robichaud with a four-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs came up short against the Hawks, falling 12-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Robichaud saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Antonio Mcleod, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That hit marked the first that Mcleod has got this season.

Robichaud's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Hope Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robichaud will challenge Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hope Christian Academy, they will face off against Thurston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
