Abington Friends suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Abington Friends's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 58-15 loss at the hands of George School. Abington Friends has struggled against George School recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Leading George School to victory were Basha Harrington and Gianna Johnson. Harrington scored 14 points, while Johnson scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of George School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Ravindranathan, who scored seven points.

Abington Friends bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.8 points per game. As for George School, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
