Soccer Game Preview: Fenwick vs. Roosevelt

The Fenwick Friars will head out to square off against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Fenwick will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Fenwick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Pritzker 2-1. Fenwick found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Sean Bell and Nathaniel Sabatino were both handed yellow cards.

Shane Kupiec and Matt Simon scored both of Fenwick's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt earned a 3-1 victory over Von Steuben on Monday.

Fenwick's record is now 11-5-1. As for Roosevelt, their record now sits at 11-3-4.

Everything went Fenwick's way against Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as Fenwick made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Friars repeat their success, or do the Rough Riders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
