Soccer Recap: Putnam County Has No Trouble Against Prince Avenue Christian

The Putnam County War Eagles got the win against the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines on Thursday by a conclusive 6-2. With Putnam County ahead 4-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Prince Avenue Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexander Jimenez (3), Emmanuel Meraz, Jonathan Chavez, and Angel Sanchez.

The victory made it two in a row for Putnam County and bumps their season record up to 11-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Putnam County nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
