Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial lost against Roosevelt back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Centennial Huskies fell just short of the Roosevelt Mustangs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Mustangs are ranked 28th).

This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and nudges their season record down to 9-5-2. As for Roosevelt, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3-3.

Centennial will venture away from home to challenge Corona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Norco at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
