Softball Recap: Sperry Takes a Loss

Sperry and Kansas pushed the score to 11-10 the last time they played Kansas, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Pirates fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Sperry's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Kansas, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Coming up, Sperry will welcome Skiatook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kansas, they will head out to face off against Jay at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
