While The King's Academy put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Scholars Guild Academy. The King's Academy put the hurt on Scholars Guild Academy with a sharp 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The King's Academy let Dominick Hopkins and Hayden Beasley run wild. Hopkins scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Beasley scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. What's more, Beasley posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.

The King's Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in five consecutive games.

The King's Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Scholars Guild Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Coming up, The King's Academy will be playing at home against Cornerstone Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against New Creation Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
