Baseball Recap: Rome Comes Up Short

Rome fell victim to New Manchester and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguar. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rome's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10. As for New Manchester, they moved to 5-10 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
