Baseball Recap: Mount Pisgah Christian Takes a Loss

Mount Pisgah Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Francis Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-15 back in March.

Mount Pisgah Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for St. Francis, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-19.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mount Pisgah Christian will face off against rival King's Ridge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Francis is set to challenge their familiar foe The Weber School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
