Mission Oak picks up fifth straight win at home

Recap: Mission Oak Hawks vs. Lemoore Tigers

The Mission Oak Hawks won the last time they faced the Lemoore Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. Mission Oak walked away with a 53-46 victory over Lemoore. Given Mission Oak's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while Lemoore is ranked 933rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mission Oak's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabella Zepeda, who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten rebounds, and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Calantas, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Mission Oak's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Lemoore, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
