Soccer Recap: South Fork Comes Up Short

South Fork kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Kelseyville Knights by a score of 3-2. If South Fork were looking for revenge after losing 5-3 to Kelseyville when the teams met back in September of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Makenzie Brewer and Gage Bates scored both of South Fork's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Kelseyville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, South Fork and Kelseyville will both be playing Technology the next time they take the pitch. The Cubs will head out to face the Titans at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
