Volleyball Recap: Great Bridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Great Bridge was the 3-1 winner over Oscar Smith when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Great Bridge actually scored more points across those five sets (102-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-17, 15-13.

Oscar Smith had a senior duo take command as Sianni Thompson Jones had 18 digs and Alisha Brown had 24 digs.

Great Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Great Bridge will challenge Granby at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oscar Smith, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Kempsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
