Baseball Recap: Chapel Hill Falls Short of Buford in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chapel Hill can now relate to. They lost 12-0 to the Buford Wolves on Thursday. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Chapel Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Lawrence, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Buford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Chapel Hill nor Buford have any future games scheduled.
