Baseball Recap: Becker Takes a Loss

Becker extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 9-8. They fell 9-5 to the Foley Falcons. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

As for Foley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games.

For Foley's part, the team relied heavily on Jaren Robinson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Robinson a new career-high. Teddy Rasmussen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Looking ahead, Becker will take on Willmar at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foley, they will face off against Pierz at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
