Volleyball Recap: GV Christian Guardians vs. Incline Highlanders
GV Christian extended their postseason success on Friday against Incline. They blew past the Incline Highlanders 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Guardians sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
GV Christian walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-20.
Ellie Thurman paced GV Christian's offense, picking up 23 kills. Thurman got some help from
Jenna Pulcini and her 22 assists.
Olivia Torres controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
GV Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 26 of their last 27 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 32-5 record this season. As for Incline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-8.
GV Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lake Mead Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. Incline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
