Soccer Recap: Creston Comes Up Short

Creston lost against Chariton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 4-0 to the Chargers. Creston have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Creston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chariton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creston will host Denison-Schleswig at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Denison-Schleswig's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Creston's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chariton, they will be playing at home against Prairie City-Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chariton will be up against Prairie City-Monroe's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
