Shafter benefitted from Escalera in 62-31 win
On Monday Aliyah Escalera was dialed in and scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Considering what she did the last time these two duked it out (she scored three points along with five steals), Chavez should've known better. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was her eighth in a row with two or more steals. On the season, Escalera has averaged 9.5 points, 4 steals, and 3.3 assists per game.
Escalera and Shafter will be playing in front of their home fans against Taft at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
