Softball Recap: Big Pasture Wins Going Away Against Temple

Big Pasture won the last time they faced Temple and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rangers blew past the Tigers 19-3. Considering the Rangers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Taylor Lawson made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. Lawson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kyleigh Martin was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Sofia Hester was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Big Pasture always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Big Pasture's record is now 17-12. As for Temple, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

As of now, neither Big Pasture nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
