Basketball Game Preview: Cate Rams vs. Foothill Tech Dragons

Cate hasn't had much luck against Foothill Tech recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cate Rams will host the Foothill Tech Dragons at 6:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Cate was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 29-24 to Bishop Diego.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Foothill Tech beat Simi Valley 56-52 on Monday.

Foothill Tech's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Cate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Cate took a serious blow against Foothill Tech in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 52-14. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Cate was down 25-5.
