Northwest waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 20 straight wins... but they left with 21. They blew past the Crete Cardinals 15-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Northwest got a massive performance out of Abby Dinkelman, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Dinkelman has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jolie O'Hara, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Northwest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .684. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Crete, their loss dropped their record down to 22-6.

As of now, neither Northwest nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
