Basketball Game Preview: Montgomery Red Raiders vs. Muncy Indians

Montgomery is 0-10 against Muncy since February of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Montgomery Red Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Muncy Indians at 6:00 p.m.

Montgomery is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They fell 35-26 to Bucktail.

Meanwhile, Muncy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 44-25.

Muncy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Montgomery, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Montgomery was dealt a bruising 51-6 loss at the hands of Muncy in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Montgomery avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
