High Tech SD is 7-1 against Kearny since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The High Tech SD Storm will host the Kearny Komets at 6:00 p.m. High Tech SD's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, High Tech SD turned things around against Hoover on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Storm were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Kearny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Mira Mesa. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Komets couldn't quite close it out.

High Tech SD's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10-1. As for Kearny, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-2.

High Tech SD skirted past Kearny 2-1 in their previous matchup back in January. Does High Tech SD have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kearny turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
