Softball Recap: Cherokee Bluff's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cherokee Bluff lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Jefferson, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Bears put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 9-1 victory on Tuesday. Nine seems to be a good number for the Bears as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Cherokee Bluff's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
