Shadow Hills skates past Rancho Mirage with ease

The Shadow Hills Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Rancho Mirage on the road to the tune of 86-5. That looming 86-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Shadow Hills yet this season.

Leading Shadow Hills to victory were Analiah Cardona and Victoria Hyatt. Cardona scored 26 points, while Hyatt scored 20 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Hyatt is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Genesis Huerta, who scored 14 points.

Shadow Hills' victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Rancho Mirage, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.

Shadow Hills will be playing at home against La Quinta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. La Quinta will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 711th, while Shadow Hills is ranked 103rd). As for Rancho Mirage, they will head out on the road to face off against Palm Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Springs is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
