Basketball Game Preview: Chaffey Tigers vs. Diamond Ranch Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Chaffey Tigers take on the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday... Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Chaffey turned things around against Montclair on Monday. They strolled past the Cavaliers with points to spare, taking the game 48-34.

Meanwhile, Diamond Ranch didn't have too much trouble with Ontario on Friday as they won 46-32.

Diamond Ranch found their leader in sophomore Amanda Uyeda, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. Those seven assists gave Uyeda a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Seales, who posted nine points and five steals.

Diamond Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Chaffey, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
