Baseball Game Preview: Walsh Jesuit Warriors vs. Euclid Panthers

The Walsh Jesuit Warriors will challenge the Euclid Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walsh Jesuit's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Walsh Jesuit's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of University School on Friday.

Meanwhile, Euclid also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 11-0 to Lorain on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

Euclid saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was K Hamon, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Walsh Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Euclid, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Walsh Jesuit got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2017 against Euclid by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
