Basketball Recap: Woodcreek Victorious

Woodcreek won the last time they faced Bella Vista, and Ryan Nair did her part to make sure it happened again. The Woodcreek Timberwolves really took it to the Bella Vista Broncos for the full four quarters, racking up an 87-27 win thanks in part to Nair, who almost dropped a triple-double with 44 points, nine assists, and 11 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Woodcreek's points.

Another player making a difference was Izzy Deveraux, who went 7-for-9 en route to 17 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Bella Vista still got an impressive performance from Mackenzie Dean, who posted six points and five rebounds. Dean is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played.

The victory got Woodcreek back to even at 14-14. As for Bella Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.

Woodcreek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bella Vista, they will square off against Vista del Lago at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
