Soccer Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

After flying high against East Sac County on Thursday, Carroll came back down to earth. Carroll lost 6-0 to Gilbert on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Carroll in their meetings with Gilbert: they've now lost five in a row.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Gilbert, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 13-0-5.

Coming up, Carroll will welcome Harlan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carroll are facing Harlan at the right time seeing as Harlan are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Gilbert, they will venture away from home to square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Perry will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Gilbert surely won't give up without a fight.
