Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Wilson

The Lincoln Tigers will head out to square off against the Wilson Mules at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lincoln fell victim to Marshall and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Barristers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1114th, while the Barristers are ranked 291st).

Meanwhile, Wilson also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to Bravo on Monday.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Wilson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-7-2 record this season.
