Kathleen is 0-10 against Lakeland since January of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Red Devils will take on the Dreadnaughts at 8:00 p.m. Kathleen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.

Kathleen saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 47-35 to Poinciana Christian Preparatory. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Eagles are ranked 112th).

Despite their defeat, Kathleen saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mason Keys, who posted 13 points and six rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Jordan Jones was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Lakeland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 67-58 victory over the Eagles.

Kathleen now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Lakeland, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.

Kathleen suffered a grim 76-56 defeat to Lakeland in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
