Basketball Recap: Summerfield Waldorf Comes Up Short

Summerfield Waldorf was the 33-31 winner over Rio Lindo Adventist when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 31-30 to the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans.

Rio Lindo Adventist found their leader in sophomore Sascha Norman, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Norman is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Alexis Bushby was another key player, putting up two points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Summerfield Waldorf's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Summerfield Waldorf nor Rio Lindo Adventist have any future games scheduled.
