Baseball Recap: Wilkinson County Takes a Loss

Wilkinson County lost against Johnson County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-2. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Wilkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Johnson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

While Wilkinson County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
