Football Game Preview: Jackson North Side Indians vs. Giles County Bobcats + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Quinn Jenkins and Xavier Randolph are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Jackson North Side Indians will welcome the Giles County Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Jackson North Side's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Liberty Tech Magnet, posting a 49-0 victory. That looming 49-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

Meanwhile, Giles County entered their tilt with Community on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings/Viqueens 36-0. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Vikings/Viqueens are ranked 322nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Giles County's win came from a few key players Jackson North Side will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Pierson Collier, who rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught one TD. Another player making a difference was Damari Allen, who picked up 156 receiving yards and one score.

Giles County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in four consecutive games.
