Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Casa Grande). They walked away with a 47-38 victory over the Arroyo Dons on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Gauchos as it spelled an end to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Casa Grande's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Arroyo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Casa Grande didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-34 loss against Sanger West on the 30th. As for Arroyo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 37-35 win against Turlock on the 30th.
