Softball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Florence was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They came up short against the Sand Creek Scorpions, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Scorpions: they've now lost five in a row.

Florence saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Dalton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Sand Creek, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-14.

While Florence had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
