Basketball Game Preview: Millikan Rams vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

Millikan and Woodrow Wilson are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Millikan Rams will challenge the Woodrow Wilson Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Millikan ended up a good deal behind Jordan and lost 38-24. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Woodrow Wilson over Compton in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Woodrow Wilson blew Compton out of the water with a 64-33 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bruins had established a 30 point advantage.

Woodrow Wilson's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Millikan, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12.

Millikan skirted past Woodrow Wilson 43-41 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Millikan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
