Softball Recap: Morgan County Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

With a playoff win on the line, Morgan County rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Cook Hornets get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Morgan County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Cook, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-6.

As of now, neither Morgan County nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
