Football Game Preview: Wapsie Valley Warriors vs. South Winneshiek Warriors

Wapsie Valley are taking a road trip to take on South Winneshiek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wapsie Valley will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Wapsie Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Maquoketa Valley, taking the game 27-16. The 27-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday South Winneshiek sidestepped Clayton-Ridge for a 20-17 victory.

Wapsie Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for South Winneshiek, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Wapsie Valley's way against South Winneshiek when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Wapsie Valley made off with a 35-14 victory.
