Baseball Recap: West Allis Central Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither West Allis Central nor Wauwatosa West made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Bulldogs took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 12-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

West Allis Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Fox, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Fox is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

West Allis Central's record is now 8-15. As for Wauwatosa West, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-17 record this season.

West Allis Central will welcome Milwaukee Riverside at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Wauwatosa West, they are taking a road trip to square off against Waukesha South at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
