Soccer Recap: Hanford West Comes Up Short

Hanford West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Immanuel Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Immanuel this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in January.

Hanford West's loss dropped their record down to 7-14-2. As for Immanuel, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 13-11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hanford West will face off against rival Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Immanuel is set to take on their familiar foe Exeter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
