Soccer Recap: Summerville Takes a Loss

Summerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Franklin Yellowjackets, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Kylie Peterson, who's now up to three this season.

Summerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Franklin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Summerville has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Mountain House on the 14th. As for Franklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Sierra on the 14th.
