Softball Game Preview: Gallup Bengals vs. Aztec Tigers

The Gallup Bengals will face off against the Aztec Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gallup has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight defeats, while Aztec will come in with five straight victories.

Gallup couldn't beat Miyamura on Friday even though they stacked eight runs on them in the fourth inning. The Bengals fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 10-9.

Gallup saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Leia Tso was another, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Aztec owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Bloomfield. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Aztec's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Gallup, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
