Carrollton had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Westlake Lions a 10-0 shutout. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season so far.

Carrollton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Westlake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
