Westlake Charter has no trouble against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy

Recap: Westlake Charter Explorers vs. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves
The Westlake Charter Explorers won the last time they faced the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Westlake Charter enjoyed a cozy 49-32 victory over Western Sierra Collegiate Academy.
Westlake Charter found their leader in underclassman Anthonia Nwaukoni, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 22 rebounds. Nwaukoni hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Chigozie Igwegbe, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Westlake Charter's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Futures the next time they take the court. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy will host Futures at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Westlake Charter will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
