Softball Game Preview: Palmer Terrors vs. Canon City Tigers

Palmer hasn't had much luck against Canon City recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Terrors will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Palmer has given up an average of 18.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Palmer is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Mesa Ridge on Tuesday. They lost 17-2 to the Grizzlies.

Meanwhile, Canon City won against Pueblo South on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Tigers walked away with an 11-6 win over Coronado. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three games in a row.

Canon City's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
