Basketball Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 31st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bucktail Bucks, falling 40-16. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 60-17 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Bucktail, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Meadowbrook Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bucktail, they will be playing at home against Northwest Area at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest Area's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Bucktail's offense will have their work cut out for them.
