Soccer Game Preview: Crisp County vs. Tattnall County

The Crisp County Cougars will face off against the Tattnall County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Crisp County comes in on five and Tattnall County on eight.

Crisp County barely beat Sumter County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 8-1 victory on Monday. Considering Crisp County have won five matchups by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Sumter County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luis DeLeon (4), Sawyer McGinnis (2), Elias Ortega, and Jerald Hidalgo.

Appling County typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Tattnall County proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 5-3. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Tattnall County were the better team in the second half.

Tattnall County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Crisp County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Crisp County took their win against Tattnall County when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
