Football Game Preview: Skyline Thunderbirds vs. Meade Buffaloes

The Skyline Thunderbirds are taking a road trip to challenge the Meade Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Skyline has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Meade will arrive with six straight wins.

On Friday, Skyline had to suffer through a 52-6 loss at the hands of Kiowa County.

Meanwhile, Meade was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Elkhart 60-6. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won five games by 24 points or more so far this season.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Meade, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Skyline suffered a grim 76-50 defeat to Meade in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
