Lowndes has gone a perfect 7-0 against Lee County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Trojans at 2:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lowndes managed to keep up with Richmond Hill until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Vikings lost 4-0 to the Wildcats. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Lowndes haven't been shut out since back in February.

Meanwhile, Lee County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Veterans.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 10-2. As for Lowndes, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Lowndes took their victory against Lee County in their previous meeting back in February of 2020 by a conclusive 6-2 score. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
